PräFix ("the app") is a mobile application that helps you learn German separable verbs. This policy explains what information the app handles. In short: PräFix does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create stays on your device.
PräFix has no user accounts and makes no network connections. We — the developer — receive no data of any kind from you. The app does not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or any third-party data-collection services.
The following is saved locally on your device (using the operating system's standard app storage) and never leaves it:
If you tap to add a profile picture, the app asks permission to open your photo library so you can select one image. The selected image is stored only on your device and is used only to display your profile picture. It is never uploaded or shared. You can decline this permission and still use every part of the app. The app does not use the camera or microphone.
PräFix does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. No data is transmitted off the device.
You can reset your learning progress at any time in the app under Einstellungen → Fortschritt zurücksetzen. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
